ABOUT
Great Days Event Planning is a personal wedding and event planning service based in Fayetteville, GA, just 20 miles south from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It's owned and operated by me, Kiersten Tharp. I have a great passion for design, creativity, planning, and helping others, and I pride myself on my highly customized and distinguished events. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, WV, and a strong background in customer service, sales, and marketing. With all of that combined came the vision of Great Days Event Planning, where I can utilize all of my gifts and previous experiences to make peoples' events inspiring, extraordinary, and unforgettable.

In addition to being an entrepreneur, I'm a proud mother to my beautiful and smart baby girl, Katie, and a proud wife to my incredibly supportive husband and other half, Chris. I’m also a cat mom to our good boys Jackson and Mack. Other passions of mine include music, movies, traveling, shopping, and coffee.

DAY-OF COORDINATION
Something can easily go wrong the day of an event. Great Days Event Planning will be there from beginning to end to coordinate and manage everything from logistics and vendor day-of contact to wedding rehearsal management and putting out fires, so your day will be smooth and stress free.
CONCEPT & DESIGN PLANNING
Don’t know exactly what you want your event to look like? Great Days Event Planning will. I will plan and design to the tiniest detail to make your event look and feel phenomenal, including floor plans, layouts, table arrangements, etc. I guarantee your guests will be raving about the event afterwards.
DECORATING
THE VENUE
You want to enjoy a calm, stress-free morning with your family and friends, not frantically decorating the venue before it's time to get ready. I will perfectly decorate all aspects of the venue for you, including tablescapes, signage, and any other details. I will also collect all decor at the end of the night, so you don't have to.
SETUP & BREAKDOWN
Some venues leave the table and chair setup to you which can be a frustrating, tiresome endeavor. Great Days Event Planning will handle all table and chair setup in the morning and breakdown at night, so my clients can focus on the more important things.
EVENT CLEAN-UP
Enjoy your event without getting your hands dirty. Great Days Event Planning will handle any and all aspects of clean-up, including clearing tables, taking out the trash, and wiping up spills.
VENDOR BOOKING & MANAGEMENT
Finding and booking all the vendors for your event can be time-consuming and overwhelming. I will book your vendors for you, starting from my preferred list of top-notch, quality vendors, including catering, florist, photographer, music, etc.
INVITATIONS &
GUEST MANAGEMENT
Want invitations? You got it. I take care of all the small, tedious details including invitations, seating arrangements, and guest coordination, so that you can rest assured that everyone is where they need to be.
VENUE TOURING
Finding just the right place for your event is crucial. There are countless factors to consider, questions to ask, and things to know. Great Days Event Planning can help! For your peace of mind, I will assist with scheduling and touring venues to make sure all bases are covered.
HOTEL BLOCK
ARRANGEMENTS
Guests are traveling in, so you need to book a block of hotel rooms for them, but how? Great Days Event Planning--that's how. I will handle all arrangements with the hotel of your choice, so you can rest easy.
